Caleffi Names New CEO
Caleffi names Tina Gullickson CEO after Mark Olson announcements retirement at AHR 2024. Olson led the company since 2004.
The CEO of Caleffi North America, Mark Olson, is retiring.
Caleffi credits Olson with guiding the company through nearly two decades of growth to establish a successful North American business highly regarded for innovation, education and service.
“It’s been a long, fun ride and if there was anything that I take most pride in looking back on 20 years, it’s not all those products. It’s the innovation and the people, it’s the culture, it’s the family,” Olson said during the Caleffi announcement at the AHR Expo in Chicago in January. “I can say I’m leaving a company that I truly love, and I love those people so.”
Tina Gullickson succeeds Olson, who was named CEO in 2004.
Gullickson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the plumbing and hydronic industries, has been serving as Chief Operating officer of Caleffi since November. She previously held several leadership positions and offers considerable industry knowledge and expertise, Caleffi said. Gullickson held leadership roles at Broan-NuTone, Weil Mclain and Marley Engineer. She has an MBA from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
“I’m excited to stay in an industry that has supported my growth for 20 years,” Gullickson said. “Caleffi is a company with a compelling vision. Our commitment to innovation and quality is what makes us best in class.”
Caleffi was founded in Gozzano, in the Italian province of Novara. The company initially manufactured brass and steel fittings and accessories for other valve manufacturers. After decades of growth, the company opened a facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 35,000 square-foot facility houses main offices, warehousing and assembly operations.
The company says its expertise is the control of temperature, pressure and flow of water-based fluids. Products include control valves, balancing devices and flow switches to zone relays and heat meters. Caleffi employs more than 1,640 employees worldwide and distributes to more than 90 countries.
Mark Olson speaks at the Caleffi press conference during AHR Expo 2024 in Chicago. During the event, Caleffi announced that Mark Olson would be retiring after leading the company since 2004. Tina Gullickson, who joined Caleffi as Chief Operating Officer this past November was announced as Caleffi’s new CEO.
