DEWALT Debuts ATOMIC Compact Series Bandsaw

One-Handed Bandsaw Is The Latest Addition to the ATOMIC Compact Series™ Line of Tools

At a recent virtual show, DEWALT announced the new ATOMIC Compact Series20V MAX* Brushless Cordless 1-3/4″ Bandsaw, made for fast one-handed cutting. The bandsaw is the latest to join the more than 200 products in the 20V MAX* System as part of the ATOMIC Compact Series™ line of tools, which combine performance and durability in a compact format.

The ATOMIC Compact Series20V MAX* Bandsaw’s 1-3/4″ cut capacity allows cutting of the most common small-sized metal diameters found on the jobsite, making it ideal for plumbing, electrical, mechanical and other metalworking applications. It has a bare tool weight of just 6.6 pounds and features an integrated guard for one-handed, overhead cutting applications. With an SFPM from 150 to 380, the bandsaw features a variable speed trigger and speed dial for control when cutting materials including stainless steel, strut or all thread.

In addition, the bandsaw is designed with an integrated hang hook, allowing users to hang the tool between cuts. An LED light helps to illuminate the cutting area. This tool has a bracket for mounting a LANYARD READY™ attachment (sold separately), making it easy to securely anchor to scaffolding during at-height jobs. The bandsaw is compatible with the DEWALT Tool Connect™ Chip (sold separately) for convenient management and tracking of the tool.
