Oatey Co., a leading manufacturer in the plumbing industry since 1916, has announced the promotion of Dalithia Smith, SPHR, CCP, SHRM-SCP, to Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Smith joined Oatey just over two years ago as Vice President, Human Resources. With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources leadership, she has significant expertise in all areas of human capital management, talent acquisition and overall HR strategy. Prior to joining Oatey, she spent 10 years at Lincoln Electric, most recently as Vice President, Human Resources, Americas Welding. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Smith will continue to lead all HR functions at Oatey and will also have responsibility for Environmental, Health, Safety and Security as well as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She continues to report to Neal Restivo, CEO. “During her time at Oatey, Dalithia has made significant contributions in supporting our associates, HR strategy and overall business,” commented Restivo. “Her leadership, experience and skill set will continue to be highly valuable as we grow, expand into new markets and position ourselves as an employer of choice.” Dalithia has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Ohio University and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management, and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with the Human Resources Certification Institute.
