METUS Distributor Donates to Homes For Our Troops

S. G. Torrice Company, a Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US distributor, provides heating and cooling equipment for nonprofit veterans organization.

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) is pleased to support distributor S. G. Torrice Company, in the donation of Mitsubishi Electric equipment to Homes For Our Troops. The nonprofit organization builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.

S. G. Torrice Company recently supplied equipment to outfit Homes For Our Troops’ control/equipment room in their Taunton, Massachusetts office. The new equipment replaced a malfunctioning 8-year-old system.

Torrice Company. “We’re honored to support an organization whose focus is to support those who have sacrificed their previous way of life for our country.”

Since 2004, Homes For Our Troops has been building and donating custom homes nationwide for injured post-9/11 veterans so they can rebuild their lives. These specially adapted custom homes enable veterans to focus on their recovery in a safe environment, and regain their freedom and independence. Veterans also receive financial planning services for long-term success after the home is built.

S. G. Torrice Company is a full-service, family-owned HVAC distributor founded in 1958 by veteran Samuel G. Torrice. The company is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts and has 12 locations serving residential and commercial HVAC dealers in the northeast.
